JIL SANDER – CHANEL – LANDLORD ADVISORY ON TERMINATION OF EXISTING LEASE AND RELETTING
After we had procured the transaction for Jil Sander in 2015 to replace Ermenegildo Zegna, we advised landlord and Jil Sander during the pandemic crises and brokered mutually beneficial solutions. In order to enable landlord to enter into a new long term lease with CHANEL, which perfectly complements existing luxury anchor tenant Louis Vuitton in the same property, we brokered the early termination of the existing Jil Sander lease in order to allow for the conclusion of the succeeding CHANEL lease.
We are proud to have helped our precious private property ownership client to complete the creation of arguably the most desirable luxury tenant mix in a European Trophy Retail Property.
In 2015 we had already enabled the lease agreement for Louis Vuitton for the corner unit by relocating preceding tenant Jil Sander to this unit which will now boost the largest CHANEL store in Germany.
